Medical Grade Skincare
Clinically-Proven Skincare Products to Tackle Your Skin Concerns
Have you been spending a fortune on various skincare products but yet to see significant results? Are you unsure which skincare products you should use for your skin type?
The range of skincare products on your local High Street or online is, frankly, overwhelming. And there’s no guarantee of success either – there’s no requirement that these products work, or represent value for money (and there are plenty of serums which will cost you hundreds of pounds!)

Invest In Your Skin
At The Calla Clinic, we have therefore personally curated a selection of medical-grade skincare products and treatments designed to transform your skin health and achieve the ultimate glow. Our medical-grade skincare products are formulated with the highest quality and concentration of ingredients and undergo rigorous testing to ensure their efficacy and safety. These powerful solutions penetrate deep into the skin (due to specialised delivery systems), effectively addressing underlying issues and delivering transformative results.
Unfortunately, most skincare products available on the highstreet are not strong enough to deliver significant results. This is because these products contain significantly lower concentrations of ‘active’ ingredients or do not penetrate the skin effectively, meaning they are not targeting the deepest skin layers. There are also various molecular forms of certain ingredients, some of which are more effective than others.
This is why medical-grade skincare and prescriptive skincare products are truly worth an investment; they will deliver results. We have selected a range of high quality medical-grade brands to stock in-clinic and use a combination of these products to create a completely unique skincare regime. We prefer to incorporate various brands of skincare when building a routine as we know that no person’s skin is the same and not one single brand will address all skincare needs optimally.
What we recommend

Zo Skin Health
A leading medical-grade skincare brand renowned for its innovative formulations and proven results. Their range includes products designed to address many skin concerns; including ageing, acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. This product range can be intensive but if you are committed to achieving the best skin possible, these products can truly deliver.

Alumier MD
Another trusted name in medical-grade skincare, offering a comprehensive range of products backed by cutting-edge science. Their formulations combine advanced ingredients with gentle delivery systems, ensuring optimal results without irritation. We may recommend a combination approach with Alumier products alongside other prescriptive skincare depending on your skin health and tolerance of possible side effects whilst your skin adjusts to your new routine.

Prescriptive Skincare
There are several key prescription only skincare products that can be used in your routine to achieve results more quickly or to treat stubborn or severe skin concerns. These products are not available to purchase over the counter and are ordered from our specialist pharmacies for us to prescribe for you.

Intradermaology
A gentle range featuring high-quality actives that complement prescriptive skincare products to support skin barrier function and hydration. We recommend this brand for those looking to introduce new ingredients gradually and cautiously.
FAQs
What is medical-grade skincare?
Medical-grade skincare products are formulated with higher concentrations of active ingredients than over-the-counter products. The molecular structure of the active ingredients used will also vary, making them more effective due to improved stability or ability to penetrate the deeper skin layers. Medical-grade skincare, (particularly the prescription only products) have undergone rigorous clinical testing, both to demonstrate that they are safe and effective.
Who can use medical-grade skincare products?
Medical-grade skincare products are available for all skin types, including sensitive skin. However, it is important to consult with our skin doctor before using any new skincare products, especially if you have any underlying skin conditions. Dr Harriett will be only too happy to fully understand your concerns and offer advice.
What are the benefits of using medical-grade skincare products?
Our range of medical-grade skincare products can help to treat a wide range of skin concerns, including acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin and menopausal skin changes.
They can also help to prevent on-going damage and improve how your skin functions and looks in the long-term. Skincare is on-going journey and maintenance in the long-term is always essential if you wish to keep your skin in great health.
