Endolift

Endolift is revolutionary, minimally invasive skin tightening, contouring and fat reducing treatment that can be used to safety treat the face, neck and body for a wide range of concerns.

We are proud to be the only Endolift treatment provider in Derbyshire. Endolift involves inserting a tiny, micro-optic laser under the skin to precisely target the deepest layers of skin, subcutaneous fat and connective tissue to create a highly accurate, bespoke treatment process. This procedure can only be performed by an appropriately trained doctor or surgeon to ensure optimal safety as this is a highly specialised treatment.

At The Calla Clinic our Endolift procedure is performed by Dr Harriett or our Calla plastic surgeon Mr Rohit Seth. Our doctors are extremely knowledgeable on how to achieve the best results with this device and have attended international educational events in Trieste, Italy where the device was created.

your own skin, without having a procedure that is too invasive. It is effective for improving jowls, skin
elasticity, defining the jawline, enhancing facial contours, tightening eyelids and can also be used on the body for skin tightening, selective fat loss and cellulite.

It is important to note that there are rising cases of false, copycat devices being used which do not have the same level of safety & contain different technology. These false devices are marketed as Endolift, when in fact they are a fake device imported. To confirm we are certified you can find Dr Harriett listed on the Endolift website under the ‘Find a Practitioner’ section. These false devices have been associated with serious complications, which should not occur when using an official Endolift device with an appropriately trained Doctor or Surgeon.

FAQs

The micro-optic fibre used during the treatment is carefully fanned under the skin, delivering energy from
a 1470nm laser. The laser energy heats up the deep layers of skin, triggering a process of repair and
regeneration. When targeting deeper layers of tissue and using different parameters we can also
precisely kill unwanted fat cells using this laser energy.

No. The Endolift treatment is performed using a local anaesthetic to ensure you remain comfortable
throughout. You will experience mild stinging when the local anaesthetic is injected. You will remain fully
awake, alert and pain-free throughout your treatment.

Following the Endolift treatment you will usually experience bruising, mild swelling and will have 2-3 tiny holes visible on the skin which heal within 5-7 days. These tiny holes are the entry points of the micro-optic laser and appear as small red spots whilst healing. The total healing time is two weeks, make-up can be worn during this time to cover bruising if desired. You will be able to carry on with your usual activities.

The Endolift treatment is designed to stimulate your skin to repair itself, making lots of new, healthy
collagen which results in tightening, improved firmness and elasticity. Where required, the device will also
kill unwanted fat cells, reducing the appearance of jowls, under the chin fat, cellulite and areas of body
fat. This process of repair and regeneration takes time- if you consider how long it has taken for your skin
laxity to form, it cannot tighten itself rapidly overnight. Usually, results are visible from 1 month and
continue to improve for 6-9 months (depending on the patient).

Usually only one treatment is required. In some cases, we may advise a second treatment 6-12 months
later. This will be discussed with you during your consultation.

All procedures carry risks, although this treatment is minimally invasive, complications can occur, and the
risk of these complications will vary depending on age, health, lifestyle and healing ability. This procedure
is very low risk of serious complications, but in rare cases complications include delayed wound healing,
infection, injury to an underlying structure, scarring, pigmentation and skin necrosis. These risks are
discussed during your consultation and if you are not considered suitable for the procedure based on
your medical history, this will be carefully considered and explained. Your safety is always our number
one priority.
