How often should I have The Calla Facial?
The Calla Facial is recommended every 4-6 weeks to support healthy skin cell turnover and improve the penetration of your skin cell products. Committing to a regular Calla Facial will help to achieve the most from your skincare routine and skin health in the long-term.
The Calla Facial is also a fantastic treatment to achieve a glow for a special occasion or to refresh dull skin if you have experienced an unwanted break out or problem with hydration.
Are there any risks to The Calla Facial?
The Calla Collagen Facial is suitable for all skin types. The facial is a relaxing, enjoyable treatment that supports the health of your skin and is completely adapted to you on the day of your treatment.
It is important that you disclose skincare products you are using as this could affect which products we choose to apply to your skin on the day.
The Calla Facial is not recommended if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, but you can try our Fire & Ice Facial instead.
Do I need to stop any of my skincare products prior to The Calla Facial?
We recommend stopping retinol, AHA’s & BHA’s for 72 hours prior to your treatment (unless advised otherwise by our Calla Clinic team). This is to ensure your skin can get the full benefit from the active ingredients in your facial and will avoid over-exfoliation or irritation caused by the medical grade products used.
If you are using any prescription only product such as tretinoin cream, this should be stopped 5 days prior to your treatment.
