So it’s our starting point, too. We offer a comprehensive skin analysis, from which we then create a bespoke and achievable skin health plan. It’ll be tailored to address your unique skin concerns and achieve the healthiest skin you’ve ever had.
We use the latest cutting-edge technologies to analyse your skin through multiple angles. The Opatra skin scanner determines the status of ten different skin conditions; while the revolutionary Observ 520x scanner uses eight light modes (including true UV) to understand your skin’s health better than ever before, revealing hidden factors that may be influencing your skin health.
That allows us to give you honest, impartial advice, backed by science; and it allows you to make decisions about your ongoing skincare management plans with confidence.

What does a skin analysis involve?
During your skin analysis consultation, one of our Calla Practitioners will ask you a series of questions about your skin history and any concerns you may have. She will also talk about your overall health and lifestyle, as these factors can significantly impact your skin health. Please take your time – we know that this discussion can be quite personal; our Calla team members are all extremely caring and always treat your concerns with respect and maintain strict confidentiality.
We will use two skin analysers to assess your skin more deeply and discover what is happening beneath the surface. This helps us to understand any issues that may be contributing to your skin concerns.
How does Opatra skin analysis work?
Opatra goes beyond traditional skin analysis, using a multi-spectral imaging technique to penetrate deep into your skin’s layers. This technique gives us previously unavailable in-depth analysis into your skin’s:
- Hydration levels
- Pore size and distribution
- Sebum production
- Texture and roughness
- Redness and inflammation
- UV Damage
- Bacterial levels
How does Observ520x skin analysis work?
The Observ 520x uses fluorescence technology to illuminate your skin, revealing signs of ageing that may not be visible to the naked eye. This advanced analysis uncovers:
- Age spots and hyperpigmentation
- Collagen and elastin depletion
- Vascular changes
- Skin inflammation
- Sebum levels
- Hydration
…and can spot these signs faster than the naked eye – giving us more time to work on a personalised solution.

How often should I have a skin analysis?
We recommend having a fresh skin analysis every 6-12 months, or more often if you have specific skin concerns. Don’t hesitate to ask The Calla Team if you have specific requests about your plan.
Pricing
Your skin analysis consultation with Dr. Harriett is £100, with £50 redeemable against skincare purchases in clinic. This appointment lasts 1 hour and includes a personalized written treatment plan tailored to your skin.
